As per our homies at the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), they’ve set a few guidelines that we bloggers must follow. With that being said, I wanted to put some things out in the open for my readers.
- This blog may be a source of income for myself, resulting in the possible promotion of products or services.
- I will never promote a product or service I don’t firmly believe in and have not faithfully reviewed.
- Keeping that in mind, if a product has been sent to me complimentary for a testimonial/review or in exchange for a sponsorship, this does not ensure that I will give a positive review. I will always keep it real with y’all.
- There will be affiliate links within the content of my posts. Affiliate links will earn me a small commission at no additional cost to you. These will be noted as such.
Money is fantastic and all, but I will never back down or provide false information or feedback to my readers. I strive to keep it real 100% with every post in hopes to provide y’all with thoughtful content. At this point in blogging, it can become very obvious when a writer is being dishonest and hiding the truth from their viewership.
I use Mailchimp to collect email addresses so you can stay up to date on the latest tea or deals to be shared. By signing up/opting in, you agree to receive updates, deals, special offers, etc, via email. You can, of course, at any time, unsubscribe to stop these emails. I promise I won’t hate you. I do not share these email addresses with third parties.
There’s a fine line between constructive criticism and being an asshole for the sake of saying rude comments. Do the right thing and be smart when leaving comments.
