LET’S TRASH TALK
Okay, not entirely but like… we ARE talking about trash so I’m not entirely clickbaiting y’all. I just wanted to have a cute name for my empties series and this is what I called my old Youtube empties series so here we are.
I, for one, LOVE empties because you get the full feel for a product once it’s used up and that’s when the REAL opinion comes out, the true deciding factor in if a product was just okay or amazing: the moment when you decide ‘is this worth repurchasing?’
Today’s empties have been compiled from MONTHS of hard work using up my almost shameful stash of various lifestyle products.

‣Jergen’s Ultra Healing
This was very nourishing! It did, however, leave my legs with the obvious feeling there was lotion on them, which I’m not entirely a fan of. However, overall, I would recommend this product because it did help the dryness. I would probably not repurchase. This product was sent to me compliments of Influenster for testing purposes.
‣Bath and Body Works in Berry Flirt
I loved the scent, but it isn’t the most hydrating lotion. I would repurchase strictly for the scent, but only in a small travel size like this. This was a Valentine’s Day scent two-three years ago… so uh, likely won’t be able to find it should you go looking. Sorry, y’all.
‣Gilchrist and Soames Spa Therapy in Sea Fennel
This was definitely a unique scent. If you are a fruity, sweet kind of scent enjoyer, this wouldn’t be for you. Hydration wise, it was average, so between the hydration and scent, I would not repurchase. But, I’ve gotta say, Gilchrist and Soames’ customer service was absolutely phenomenal. Prior to this full post, I did an Instagram post with these empties to which they responded and sent me two new products to test out, closer to my scent preferences at absolutely no cost to me! How amazing is that? I’ll definitely let y’all know how I end up liking the new ones!
‣The Body Shop Body Butters in Moringa and Grapefruit
These body butters are my favorite to hydrate my dry ass skin. These feel great on the skin and sink in perfectly. The consistency is perfect. Scent wise, I would repurchase Moringa, but honestly, could not stand Grapefruit. Both of these were travel/sample sizes from a holiday set I purchased, similar to this one. These kind of sets are a perfect way to sample a bunch of fragrances to see what you like!
‣Bic Soleil Razors in Twilight
An average razor, honestly. Not the best, not the worst. I am likely not going to repurchase these as I’ve taken a fondness to the Schick Intuition, which I find more convenient.
‣Not Your Mother’s Clean Freak Refreshing Dry Shampoo
I have always been a greasy haired gal. My hair is thin and fine, so it’s just always been easy for it to become gross. I often imagined myself looking like Filch from Harry Potter, until I started using dry shampoo. This works so well and doesn’t leave a white cast. I repurchase!
‣Dove Fresh Deodorant
I love Dove deodorant. I am a smelly, sweaty human being and this does an amazing job of hiding that fact. However, I did notice that my underarms have been darker than usual and I have a feeling this could be a huge contributing factor. I have repurchased, but I only use this when I’m going to the gym or going to be doing heavy sweating that day. I switched to a more natural deodorant for every day use.
‣Colgate Optic White Toothpaste
I drink a lot of coffee and soda because I am so healthy and I still get compliments on how white my teeth are, despite not having whitening them in a while, and it’s thanks to this toothpaste. I consistently repurchase.
Have you tried any of these products? What did you think of them? Worthy of a repurchase? Let me know!
